Residential Services (Alternative Living Unit – ALU)
The primary function of Home4Me Inc. is to provide adequate residential services, housing that is instrumental in assuring a better-quality lifestyle. Home4Me Inc would develop an alternative living unit, ALU that is equipped to meet the needs of each participant served. The unit would provide accommodations for up to three individuals, each with his or her own room and private space. The food preparation and dining areas would provide and support a wonderful opportunity for our participants to prepare and share meals together and an ideal location for group or family style meetings and recreation activities. The unit would be equipped for planned social activities, including day and evening plans for:
- self-education and learning – library resource of self-learning books and software, computer
- games and movie – board games and movie collection
- Crafts and talent – hands on craft creations, hobbies and talent shows.
We would have a 24-hours staff supervision which includes assistance with health-related appointments, clothing and grocery shopping, social activities, and special events. Other assistance that would be rendered to our participants would include but not limited to:
- Medical appointments, including scheduling and transportation
- Participation in community activities
- Personal Banking
- Social interaction
- Personal Care as needed
- Nutritional Support
- Nursing support as needed
- Meal Preparation
- Benefits Management
- Transportation Support
- Individual Goal Planning
